Some friends and I went to dinner here when I was in town recently. They had a coupon for a special for the two of them. I decided on the Chicken Rizzo mainly because it is not breaded and I was not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly and quite delicious. My friends opted for a breaded chicken entree and they were pleased won their selection. I had a glass of Sambucca after my meal which was a nice complement to my dinner. The service was attentive. I will come back next time I'm in town.

Owner: Don Rizzo told our group to leave his restaurant and go someplace...he said "I don't need your business".
Our group of 9 retired AB employees made a reservation for 11:30 on 12/11 for our Christmas Luncheon. I was the 1st to arrive at 11:15 and was told that I couldn't be seated until our entire group arrived. At 11:25 we had 4 of our 9 and was this time told by the owner that they have a sign at the door that states groups of 6 or more won't be seated until all members are present.
I said we could go to another restaurant and be seated, but we would wait for the 5 minutes for our reservation even though our table was sitting vacant. The owner said no need because he was cancelling our reservation and told us to leave because he didn't need our business.
Our group...now 8 strong went across the street to Rich & Charlie's where we were treated with more respect and had a wonderful lunch with no wait and had excellent service from our waiter Mike.
Please remember that even though Rizzo's has excellent food...the owner - Don Rizzo doesn't need your business. -

I have never been disappointed eating here! Save your time and skip rich and Charlie's flavorless overpriced food and head across the street to Rizzo's. Not only is the quality of the food much higher, but it's actually seasoned well and cooked well. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We had a great dinner. Side salads are small but packed with flavor and toppings, toasted ravs were delish, my chicken parm was great and they accommodated my request for spaghetti instead of the house red pasta. We tried rich and Charlie's a few weeks ago and were very disappointed plus got food poisoning!!! Please forgive us Rizzo's we will never stray again!

OMG THIS IS THE G.O.A.T RESTAURANT!! Normally my girlfriend wants to go to The Pasta House or the Olive Garden, they both were crowded so we found this wonderful gift from God of a restaurant. The server/waitress had a very cheery happy to see you, glad you came type of attitude. Very attentive and caring and we loved every minute of it, it was like a breath of fresh air. The FOOD OMG WAS SENT FROM HEAVEN, IF I COULD MARRY THR COOK.......I WOULD!!! All of there food is cooked to order, HOT & DELICIOUS. It tasted so good I wanted cry, seasoned perfectly and a generous portions. I LOVE THIS PLACE AND I AM A FOREVER CUSTOMER.....THANK YOU FOR CREATING THIS PLACE!!!! BEST ITALIAN IN THE LOU!!!!
